How do I get started with AegisSole?
1. Create an account on our website or download the app. 2. Choose a subscription plan (all plans include a 3-day free trial). 3. Download AegisSole on your device. 4. Log in and tap Connect — you're protected!
How do I install AegisSole on my device?
For iOS: Search 'AegisSole' in the App Store, or visit our Download page for a direct link. For macOS: Download from our website. Open the installer and drag AegisSole to your Applications folder.
How do I connect to a server?
Open AegisSole, select a server location from the server list, and tap the Connect button. The app will automatically choose the fastest server if you don't select one.
Account & Billing
How do I change my password?
Log in to your dashboard at www.pridelory.com, go to Security settings, and click 'Change password'. You can also use the 'Forgot password' link on the login page.
How do I cancel my subscription?
For App Store subscriptions: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device and cancel from there. For web subscriptions: Visit your Dashboard > Subscription and manage your plan.
Can I use one account on multiple devices?
Yes! Depending on your plan, you can use AegisSole on 2 devices (Basic) or 5 devices (Pro) simultaneously with a single account.
How do I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
You can switch your billing period from the Pricing page or your Dashboard. Annual plans save up to 30% compared to monthly billing.
Connection & Troubleshooting
Why is my connection slow?
Try switching to a server closer to your location. Connection speed depends on server distance, network conditions, and your ISP. Our servers are optimized for performance, but physical distance matters.
The app won't connect. What should I do?
1. Check your internet connection without AegisSole. 2. Try a different server location. 3. Restart the app. 4. Make sure you have an active subscription. 5. If the issue persists, contact support.
What does Kill Switch do?
Kill Switch blocks all internet traffic if the secure tunnel connection drops unexpectedly. This prevents your data from being exposed even for a moment. It's enabled by default and cannot be turned off — this is a core security feature.
Which server should I choose?
For the best speed, choose the server closest to your physical location. The app shows latency for each server to help you decide. If you don't have a preference, the app will auto-select the fastest available server.
Security & Privacy
Does AegisSole keep logs of my activity?
No. We maintain a strict zero-logs policy. We never track, record, or store your browsing activity, connection timestamps, IP addresses, or DNS queries. Your privacy is absolute.
What encryption does AegisSole use?
AegisSole uses AES-256 encryption, which is the same standard used by governments and financial institutions. All traffic between your device and our servers is fully encrypted.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. We never store your payment details. All payments are processed securely by Apple (App Store) or Stripe (web), both of which are PCI-DSS compliant.
